GUIDANCE

During the first session, most mothers feel the need to tell the story about their child and the eating disorder. That's important. I listen deeply; everything needs to be heard. We'll go further depending on your needs. I can also help you clarify those needs. This can be particularly difficult if you've lost yourself along the way. Sometimes, just telling the story is enough, and we'll limit it to one session.

Everything in the process is aimed at restoring the connection with yourself.

I follow and facilitate you. I share knowledge when it is appropriate and I share my experience as a mother when you need it.

The guidance I offer is experience- and body-oriented. This means that we use the information your body provides about what you're feeling and need. I often also use experiential exercises based on systemic work. This provides greater insight and creates more inner movement than by only talking about it.

During the process you will learn ways to regulate yourself in difficult moments. You will also learn to experience life as valuable, even when the situation is downright sad and scary.

Most people come a maximum of 6 times.

Learning to let go of the illusion of control creates the space needed to heal.

Practical information

Because coaching restores and/or increases your resilience, you could ask your employer to reimburse the program. Investing in your health prevents failure due to stress or burnout. These are real risks in your situation. If your employer is prepared to reimburse the program, I will make a customized quote and different rates will apply. I will be happy to advise you on how to approach this.
